My Weekly Date with a Liberal – ‘American Heart’
Jon David, Big Hollywood

It’s almost as if the very fabric of me….every value, every experience, everything that has been a determining factor of who I have become over time, was slowly and stealthily being stripped away and rendered irrelevant with each encounter with a liberal. I was losing my identity. Not unlike our country.

Big Government and Religion: An Inverse Relationship?
Chuck Colson, BreakPoint

De Tocqueville doubted that government could ever accomplish all that American citizens could do through their associations. But he also warned that if government should supplant the good work of these associations, the American people would ultimately end up dependent upon government. And this, he said, would imperil not only American democracy, but “civilization itself.”

OMG, he didn’t fix all these things (that Bush destroyed over 8 years time) in under 5 months!!!1

Maybe “history” will vindicate him, like it did Bush!

The point Leslie, is that we were promised that if the “stimulus” package passed unemployment would not go over 8 percent. Well, it’s a 9.4 percent.

And Bush hardly destroyed these things. Yes, he had a major spending problem as well. But the economy was still basically strong until Nancy and Harry took over Congress.

Liberal media bias? The media reports on the daily events. So everybody has a bias EXCEPT Fox news? There is no liberal bias. They simply report on the daily idiocy peformed by the right wing, conservatives etc. I remember when it was TREASON to criticize a sitting war time president. So its only treason if the sitting war time president is republican. The hypocrisy is strong with the right wing. We had a surplus when Bush took over, now how did he leave office? A record defecit, gee thanks. Iiots

Oh c’mon Kevin. For eight years the left trashed George Bush and we were told that “dissent was the highest form of patriotism.”

If you read this blog often enough, you’ll know that we didn’t give Bush a pass for excessive spending. But again, the economy started going south when the Democrats took over Congress again. The President can’t spend any money without their approval.

And the numbers show, that Obama’s “stimulus” package has tripled, if not quadrupled the deficit in just a short five months. It took Bush 8 years to double it. How much in debt are we and our children’s children going to be by the end of Obama’s term?

Please feel free to quote where I said “everybody has a bias EXCEPT Fox news.”

    I’ll wait.
