It is obvious that the liberal establishment as well as the GOP establishment is going into panic mode over the fact that Sarah Palin drew 20,000 people in Auburn, New York as well as several thousand people on Long Island, which is Obama country.
She is a threat and is boosting her credentials by speaking to the North Korean issue. It is time for the liberals who hate Palin so much to either back up their claims with facts or back off.
What Ziegler says is right-on… and the guy’s pretty funny, too.
That’s how the free market system works… people are dying for someone to call Obama and the MSM on this stuff, and Ziegler is stepping up to fill the demand.
If Sarah Palin is SO silly and irrelevant, why the obsession? Clearly the Left noted her appeal, and are out to eliminate the threat- it’s not like it’s not obvious.
And she’s been highly successful in life while ignoring the left-wing feminist model… this helps to explain the extra dose of venom in the attacks.

I think you guys are giving palin way too much credit. Even the right wing has distanced itself from her. Being form the left I think the media has been too hard on her. I don’t want to sound like a dumb male but I think her looks soften my usual loathing of the right. My only problem with Palin is the hypocrisy that is so typical of the right. Her teenage daughter gets pregnant and she is still touting teaching kids abstinence and not sex education. Her own daughter says teaching kids abstinence does NOT work. She is the walking poster child for teaching kids sex ed.
I wish the right wing would hold their own accountable for making mistakes or pursuing the wrong policies. For example I think Obama’s bailouts are absolutely wrong and bad for the country. I didn’t hear oone right winger say the war in Iraq was bad for our country. Hold your own accountable thats all I ask

There are millions of kids out there for whom abstinence DOES work. Are kids perfect? Of course not. Are parents perfect? Of course not. The difference is, that on the right, Christians in particular, we realize that and realize that we all need a lot more grace than we get in the public arena. By your logic, every parent is wrong when a child disagrees or disobeys.
You must not have kids.
The reality about Iraq is that it was a necessary evil. Many “right wingers” have admitted that mistakes were made and a lot of things should have been done different. And yes, some on the right have said we shouldn’t have gone.
I’m glad you can admit that Obama was wrong about the bailouts. Stick around, you’ll have plenty of chances to do that again.

Where was the republican outcry when Mr. Bush performed his bailouts? hmmm. Its hypocrisy. Honestly if Mr. Bush was still president nobody onn the right would say boo about this. They would praise him for being a proactive president and not just sitting on his hands even though this action is wrong. Tell me anything different. You have a different set of values when judging a democrat vs a republican. My values are the same.

Finally, where’s the support of our president. He is the leader of our country. Do you hope he fails like all of your buddies. If he fails our country fails. So you want our country to fail? And I can assure you that conservative commentators like Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and Michelle Malkin (among others) were railing against the first bailout. Most Republicans acknowledge that it was George Bush that started us on this march to socialism.
If you paid attention to the TEA Parties last April, you’d know that the message was consistent. We’re angry at BOTH sides. Jeers and boos for Republicans were just as strong, if not stronger. Because after all, this was a betrayal of Republican values and principles. Call up the RNC or the NRSC and ask them how their fund raising is going.
BUT, the fact that Bush was an excessive spender is no justification for Obama to quadruple that spending.
As for me “towing the party line” that’s priceless. You obviously need to read here more often. And no, I don’t want our country to fail. I want Obama’s policies to fail, thereby saving our country.

You have no idea if we would have found bin laden by now if we hadn’t invaded iraq. And whats the basis for that statement anyhow? That we would have had more people combing the hills for bin laden or something? I’m no expert on how the military searches for people but i doubt that they have soldiers out on a easter egg hunt type search.

There is peer pressure, raging hormones and who knows what else today! Large percentages of children that are raised in Christian homes and are themselves Christians end up having sex-right or wrong. As a Christian I prefer we teach our children both-perhaps that would lower the abortion rate?? Come on…just be realistic!

The history books, if written honestly, will tell us who will be viewed as the greater leader. And Obama promised to get Bin Laden. We’re waiting.
