What’s Really Going on with Health Care?

10 Aug

First, thanks to, Jennifer Siek on Bill Bennett’s Radio Show (via PowerLine Blog) a little listening music to read by: Too Good to Be True

But there’s so much going on with this debate. So much distortion from the left. So much ignorance from the left regarding the real frustrations of Americans that they’re not being listened to. Just a few links you should read.

But don’t stop here. Keep yourself informed. Be better citizens than your President and your Congress. Know what’s in the bill. Then act accordingly.

What’s in the bill? Congress doesn’t know. The President doesn’t know. They haven’t read it. But do yourself a favor, read it, or read the comments of someone who has.

And remember, just a few years ago dissent was patriotic.

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Everytime I go into Radioshack; Regardless of what the hell I need, the aslesperson is always the cashier and they never forget to try to sell me a cell phone….every damn time. I swear. And it’s like they asked me about it because it was part of their managerial curriculum in hopes of bigger displays, brought in by the providers(Sprint,AT&T wireless, Verizon)to boost sales, aka: Take our money based on a contract with the phone company in exchange for a free phone. I wonder what we, the people, will get in exchange for a contractual agreement on this healthcare thing. I’m sure that, since this is such a big deal right now, the next party in office will tackle this issue head on in order to rectify the problem. If we sign on for this health care(one payer)reform/stimulus package bill, then we…..well, I guess it wouldn’t surprise me if somehow this still passes. Nah, this is just an early read on the connection between the public and the newly elected president. I think Obama would like to choose another topic. You know, with this whole, raydeeoh shak SALESMANSHIP that the american public isn’t buying. C’mon Barrack… Fight like you said you would. It’s not broke, don’t fix it. Wait a minute……damn it..we are broke. time to pay. Seriously, anyone with any deep thought value, whatsoever, has got to see that our economic situation isn’t getting better any time soon. Not if they are trying to sell us all the same thing at the same time right in front of everyone else while we are all watching at the same damn time. It’s obvious that we have been trying to pay off a debt over the last ten to fifteen years(maybe longer) and, hopefully I wrong. But the desperation within the salesman is musch too obvious this early in his landmark tenure.
