To take a number out of your book from last year: Tim Kaine is not running for governor, so he has no bearing on this election.

This is just fighting BS (uproar about the McDonnell’s thesis) with more BS.

Oh but Kyle, Tim Kaine DOES indeed have a bearing on this election. He’s presiding over cuts in the budget even this weekend. He’s been out there endorsing Creigh Deeds and trashing Bob McDonnell who he repeatedly praised over the past four years. He’s the HEAD of the DNC for cryin’ out loud.

This election has nothing to do with a 20 year old thesis, but everything to do with how Barack Obama and Tim Kaine have harmed our economy and our prosperity.

Until Obama and Kaine started tanking in the polls, Creigh Deeds used to say repeatedly that he was running in the “Warner-Kaine” tradition.

Wasn’t it you who said we should leave Bush out of the campaign because it was McCain who was running for president?

Furthermore we has been in a GLOBAL recession for almost 18 months now and there is nothing Kaine or Obama could have done to prevent it.

What exactly should have Kaine done to prevent a global economic collapse?

Not the same thing Kyle, because Kaine remains the chair of the DNC, AND because Deeds has claimed to be heir to his mantle. I don’t think in all the time McCain was running you could find him saying he wanted to be just like George Bush.

There are certainly policies Kaine could have implemented to make things better in the Commonwealth. Look at the statistics. States with conservative governors typically have lower unemployment numbers.
