Pro-Life Leader: Election Could Undo Every Victory on Abortion in 35 Years

“It is literally do or die in the political arena for the unborn, for our nation, and for our entire pro-life movement,” Father Frank Pavone says in a new letter to pro-life advocates. “It will be too late for you to make a difference politically for God’s unborn innocents the day after Election Day,” he says in an encouragement to pro-life advocates to work diligently to support the pro-life cause before November 4.

Is Obama waffling on abortion?

Is Obama backing away from the Sacred Cow of the…no not going there…um, the left?

Obama walks the abortion minefield
The dustup began with the magazine interview in which Obama said he supported the ban on late-term abortions if there is a “strict, well-defined exception for the health of the mother.” But he went on to draw a distinction between physical and mental health, voicing support for the former and not the latter.

Obama can’t really be blamed for being unsure of his position.  After all, after serving only 143 actual days in the Senate, he’s not even completed his second trimester.

Fla. Teens Believe Drinking Bleach Will Prevent HIV

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida teens who believe drinking a cap of bleach will prevent HIV and a shot of Mountain Dew will stop pregnancy have prompted lawmakers to push for an overhaul of sex education in the state.

State lawmakers said the myths are spreading because of Florida’s abstinence-only sex education, Local 6 reported.

Oh. For. Cryin. Out. Loud.

Of all the moronic statements.  And lefty bloggers are out there jumping all over Republicans who support abstinence only education.

But pay attention.

The only surefire way to 100% prevent HIV or pregnancy is to not have sex.  It’s a biological fact.  Look it up.

Someone needs to tell these brilliant Florida lawmakers they can’t get pregnant from a toilet seat either.

Dr. Alveda King: 'Planned Parenthood, Stop Using and Lying to My Family'

2 Mar

ATLANTA, (christiansunite.com) — Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., today decried Planned Parenthood’s use of her uncle’s image and words on its website.

“Planned Parenthood is no stranger to deception. I know firsthand because prior to my abortion, a Planned Parenthood doctor told me that my baby was just a ‘blob of tissue,'” said Dr. King. “Now, Planned Parenthood lies by trying to imply that my uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., would somehow endorse the organization today. He most certainly would not.”

Cybercast News Service

Senate’s Vote Sets Tone on Abortion
Planned Parenthood Could Lose Funding
Washington Post

RICHMOND, Feb. 27 — The Virginia Senate voted Wednesday to cut off state funding to Planned Parenthood of Virginia because it offers abortions, an action that could endanger hundreds of thousands of dollars in state aid for women’s health-care programs.

The decision, a major setback for the Senate’s new Democratic majority, marks the first time in more than a decade that the Senate has decided against giving state aid to the organization because of its abortion-related activities.
